Perfect protection of the NLL in the West Sea, mobilizing all the fighting forces

The Second Fleet was eager to protect the NLL in the West Sea with an intensive training.

The Fleet held a Maritime Counter Special Operation Force (MCSOF) training on the West Sea on November 10-12.

The MCSOF operation is to destroy enemy special operations forces and covering forces who try to land on our beach.

As part of the patriotic training, all fighting forces such as 7,600-ton class Aegis destroyers(DDG), convoys(FF), patrol frigates(PCC), guided missile patrol gun boats(PKG), submarines, Lynx, etc., underwent this training.

The Army, Air Force and Maritime police also engaged in fleet demonstration, maritime interdiction operations, joint air defense training and so on.

They were able to build up the combined operational capability and achieved success for establishing an actual readiness posture.

Moreover, they developed the ability to respond to complex situations to protect the NLL through mobile logistics support under an assumed threatening situation by an enemy submarine, and fleet damage control training for rapid functional recovery.
