Minister of National Defense meets with the delegation of US Senators

Minister of National Defense Suh Wook met with a delegation of United States (US) Senators visiting the Republic of Korea (ROK) in the afternoon of June 4. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop ROK-US cooperation and the ROK-US alliance for the denuclearization of and establishment of a permanent peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Minister Suh said that the ROK-US alliance and the combined defense posture remain firmer than ever before, and expressed appreciation for the unwavering support of the US Congress. He also called for powerful support from the US Congress to follow up on the recent successful ROK-US summit.
