- Suh checked readiness posture and COVID-19 quarantine readiness, and encouraged the soldiers for their hard work 

□ This afternoon (February 11), Minister of National Defense Suh Wook visited the Marine Corps’ 2nd Division picket and the Air Force’s Defense Control Unit to greet the Lunar New Year holiday.

□ During a visit to the guard post on the Ganghwa Island coast, Suh was briefed on the status of operations and checked the results of security reinforcement.

◦ Suh asked the soldiers to “continue to maintain a firm military readiness posture in the new year by keeping ‘win first, fight second’ in mind,” encouraging “their devotion that allows the people to have a safe Lunar New Year holiday.”

□ Earlier in the day, Suh called the officers who are devoting themselves to responding to the COVID-19 situation to encourage them in their hard work, and asked them to “fulfill their duties as best as they can so the people can soon resume peaceful daily lives.”
