ROK military wins the title in ‘CyberNet 2022’


- The ROK military won the title after a fierce competition, showing off its cyber operations capability in the international community -
 


The Cyber Operations Command (COC) won the title in the international cyber training ‘CyberNet 2022’ held in the Hague, the Netherlands from Monday May 16 to Thursday May 19. The Republic of Korea (ROK) accomplished this championship following its second-place showing in the competition last year.


 
The COC has been expanding international cooperation by taking part in ‘Locked Shields 2022’ in April as a member of the ROK national team. Locked Shields 2022 is the world’s largest cyber defense exercise, and was organized in cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The COC plans to continue to take a leading role as a strong force in cyber warfare by pushing forward with the hosting of an international cyber training.
