Defense minister meets with Saudi Arabia’s general chief of staff on the sidelines of ｢Seoul ADEX 2021｣

On Wednesday, October 20, Minister of National Defense Suh Wook met with Saudi Arabia’s General Chief of Staff, Fayyadh bin Hamed Al Ruwaili, visiting the Republic of Korea (ROK) to participate in ‘Seoul International Aerospace & Defense Exhibition 2021 (Seoul ADEX 2021),’ at which they exchanged opinions on the main pending issues on national defense and defense industry between the two countries.

Together with Vice Minister Park Jae-min, Suh welcomed the holding of this second ROK-Saudi Arabia defense cooperation committee meeting. Significantly, Suh appreciated Fayyadh’s great interest in the ROK, stressing that his frequent visits to the ROK have greatly contributed to boosting bilateral cooperation in the areas of national defense and the defense industry.
