Vice defense minister visits US Cyber Command on the sidelines of 「3rd high-level EDSCG」 to discuss expanding cooperation

On September 16, Friday, Vice Minister of National Defense Shin Beom-chul visited the United States (US) Cyber Command after participating in the ｢3rd ROK-US Extended Deterrence Strategy and Consultation Group (EDSCG)｣.

During a meeting with Deputy Commander of the US Cyber Command Timothy D. Haugh, Shin was briefed on the US Cyber Command’s main capabilities and its system to carry out operations, and the two sides discussed various cooperative measures, including carrying out ROK-US combined cyber operations.
