Defense ministry to hold ‘K-military festival’ to celebrate 74th anniversary of Armed Forces Day




Various events, including a Black Eagles’ congratulatory flight, exhibition of major equipment, and a Taekwondo demonstration, will be held across Seoul

To mark the 74th anniversary of the Armed Forces Day (October 1), the Ministry of National Defense will hold a ‘K-Military Festival that the people can join’ from September 19 to October 23.



From September 28 to October 3, there will be an exhibition of major equipment, such as K2 tank, K21 armored vehicle, and K9A1 self-propelled artillery, at the Peace Square of the War Memorial, and from October 2 to October 10, there will be traditional music performances, an honor guard, a Taekwondo demonstration, and a motorcycle parade.



The ministry also plans to hold spectacular performances in Han River Park in Yeouido. On October 3, visitors will be able to watch Apache tactical maneuvers and a Black Eagles’ congratulatory flight, as well as a traditional music performance, military band, honor guard, and Taekwondo demonstration from the event square of Han River park.
