Vice defense minister holds ROK-Ghana bilateral talks on the sidelines of 「Seoul Defense Dialogue 2022」

Two sides discuss ways to expand ROK-Ghana defense exchanges and cooperation

On Thursday morning, September 8, Vice Minister of National Defense Shin Beom-chul met with his Ghanaian counterpart Kofi Amankwa Manu, who was visiting the Republic of Korea (ROK) to participate in the Seoul Defense Dialogue 2022 (SDD), and the two sides discussed ways to expand defense exchanges and cooperation between the two countries. 

Citing the fact that the two countries have steadily conducted high-level exchanges since the establishment of diplomatic relations in November 1977, Shin proposed to continue reciprocal cooperation in the areas of personnel exchanges, peacekeeping operations, and the arms industry.
