Vice defense minister holds ROK-Mongolia bilateral talks on the sidelines of 「Seoul Defense Dialogue 2022」

On September 8, Thursday, Vice Minister of National Defense Shin Beom-chul met with his Mongolian counterpart Bayarmagnai BATSUKH, who was visiting the Republic of Korea (ROK) to participate in ｢Seoul Defense Dialogue 2022｣, and the two sides discussed current issues between the two countries in the area of defense exchanges and cooperation.

Shin expressed his appreciation for the fact that the two sides have continued to develop defense cooperation by participating in Khaan Quest,* a multilateral military exercise to strengthen the United Nations (UN) peacekeeping operations centering on the director-general level regular consultative body, conducting military education exchanges, etc.

The two sides agreed to work to develop the strategic partnership between the two countries by continuing the expansion of defense exchanges and cooperation.
