Defense minister visits site of security operations of 3rd Infantry Division

Minister Lee encourages soldiers of the current operations unit during Chuseok holiday, and emphasizes need for firm military readiness posture

On Monday, September 12, Minister of National Defense Lee Jong-sup visited the 3rd Infantry Division’s GOP to check on the security operations posture and encourage the soldiers. 

“I am proud of and so thankful to you who are committed to the security operations despite the fact that it has taken you away from your family during these Chuseok holidays. Thanks to you, the people can enjoy Chuseok holidays at ease,” Lee said, encouraging the soldiers as he visited the site of security operations.
