ROK, China to hold 9th ceremony to repatriate the remains of Chinese troops

ROK and China hold ROK-China working-level talks in Xiamen, China on July 3

On July 3, the Republic of Korea (ROK) and China held working-level talks at the director-general level in Xiamen, China, in connection with the 9th ceremony to repatriate the remains of Chinese troops. 

The ROK delegation, led by Kim Sang-jin, director general for international policy of the Ministry of National Defense, and the Chinese delegation led by Li Jingxian, vice president of the international cooperation office of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of China, held working-level talks and concluded an agreement in connection with the repatriation of the war remains.

The two sides agreed to hold a joint event to casket the war remains on September 15 and repatriate the remains of Chinese troops and related articles to China on September 16.
