Defense ministry increases the level of Cyber Protection Condition (CPCON) (Ⅳ-level → Ⅲ-level)

As of March 21, Monday, 9 a.m., the Ministry of National Defense has upgraded the level of Cyber Protection Condition (CPCON) from Ⅳ-level to Ⅲ-level to complete a preemptive readiness posture in response to cyber threats.

In keeping with the upgraded CPCON, the ministry will further strengthen private-public-military cooperation, including sharing information on cyber threats, and maintain a complete readiness posture by conducting preemptive and active surveillance and investigation on defense cyber assets.
