ROK, New Zealand hold vice defense ministers’ talks

In the afternoon of March 28, Vice Minister of National Defense Park Jae-min held talks with his New Zealand counterpart Andrew Bridgman, who was visiting the Republic of Korea (ROK) to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of ROK-New Zealand diplomatic relations. They discussed the security situation in the region and a plan for defense cooperation between the two countries.

Park made his assessment that the two countries have continued to improve their amicable and cooperative relations in various areas since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1962, as traditional allies since the Korean War. Significantly, he hoped for closer cooperation to further develop the bilateral cooperation in the areas of national defense and defense industry.
