Defense ministry to resume reserve troops mobilization training

Training a combination of “one-day mobilization training and one-day remote education”

The Ministry of National Defense will resume reserve troops mobilization training for 2022 on June 2. The ministry plans to conduct training through a combination of ‘one-day (eight hours) mobilization training and one-day (eight hours) remote education,’ targeting all reserve troops. 

The ministry decided to conduct a mobilization training on all reserve troops for one day (eight hours), in light of various circumstances, including △ the reduction of available training days (because it will start in June), △ the training field condition for 70% of the number of persons to be admitted, and △ basic training subjects required for reserve troops.

Despite the unavoidable reduction of training hours, the ministry will strive to ensure a fruitful training to satisfy the reserve troops and enhance the training's effectiveness.
