Defense Minister Suh meets with Vincent Brooks, former Commander of Combined Forces

In the afternoon of November 29, Defense Minister Suh Wook met with Vincent Brooks (MND), former Commander of the Combined Forces, who was visiting Korea to attend the 'ROK-US Alliance Future Peace Conference' and the 'Night for ROK-US Alliance' event at the ROK　Ministry of National Defense.

Minister Suh expressed his gratitude for the unwavering efforts of the former Combined Forces Commander, who has dedicated himself to ensuring a strong ROK-U.S. alliance and peace on the Korean Peninsula, not only during his tenure as Commander, but also after his retirement.

In response to Minister Suh’s questions about the progress of the 'Memorial Wall' project, which is to be a monument to the veterans of the Korean War, the former Combined Forces Commander Brooks expressed his gratitude, saying that the project has been carried out as planned through fundraising activities from a wide range of areas, including the Korean government.
