Defense Minister Suh Wook Visits the Armed Forces Pocheon Hospital

On-site inspection of hospital dedicated to COVID-19

In the afternoon of December 29 (Wednesday) last year, Defense Minister Suh Wook visited the Armed Force Pocheon Hospital (Hospital Director, Colonel Cho Seong-jun, hereinafter referred to as ‘Pocheon Hospital’), which has been converted into a nationally designated hospital dedicated to COVID-19 and is now performing its mission of ‘inpatient treatment for confirmed COVID-19 cases,’ and encouraged the military medical staff and soldiers that are working hard on their duties.

First, Minister Suh Wook visited and inspected Pocheon Hospital’s infectious disease ward (including the nursing station, the drug preparation room and the negative pressure room) as well as the outpatient ward (including the emergency room and the CT room) in the hospital.
