Vice Defense Minister Shin Beom-chul visits Gwangju Veterans Hospital to pay tribute to people of national merit

- “The Defense Ministry will continue to care for and honor our people of national merit and their bereaved families with compassion and respect.”

On Friday, June 16, Vice Defense Minister Shin Beom-chul visited the Gwangju Veterans Hospital, to console the hospitalized people of national merit and expressed gratitude for their sacrifices and dedication to the country.

The visit was also organized in celebration of June, Month of Patriots and Veterans.

Vice Minister Shin expressed his "respect and gratitude for their dedication to our country" to the hospitalized people of national merit and wished them a speedy recovery.

He also expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the director of the Gwangju Veterans Hospital, medical staff and administrative staff, and said, "I ask you to carefully treat them as if they were your own family so that they can be proud."

In addition, he said, "The Defense Ministry will continue to take care of the people of national merit and their bereaved families with compassion and respect them with sincerity."
