-The Ministry of National Defense continues to support emergency rescue and emergency treatment during the Lunar New Year holiday-

□ For a five-day period spanning from February 10 to 14, which is the government's special traffic measure period for the Lunar New Year holiday, the Ministry of National Defense will continue to support emergency rescue and emergency treatment, in order to help the people have a safe and happy Lunar New Year holiday.

□ In preparation for any emergency situations that may occur during the holiday, 730 units of rescue equipment, including helicopters, ambulances, and fire engines, and 3,500 forces to back up fire fighting, medical treatment, and rescue, will maintain a state of readiness.

□ The 13 military hospitals in the nation will also support emergency treatment on a 24-hour basis during the holiday, and people who need help can get help at any time from a neighboring military hospital.

◦About 40 people received emergency treatment from military hospitals during last year’s Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
