The Vice Minister of National Defense Baek Seung-joo is shaking hands with Dr. Katharine Moon visiting Korea from the Brookings Institution Research, on March 10. She is one of the most representative pro-Koreans in the U.S. and came to Korea to attend an International Seminar on the prospect of reunification of the Korean Peninsula and its effect on the global economy. During the talks, they had a discussion about current Korea-U.S. security issues and agreed to make a contribution to the development of the countries’ relationship through various diplomatic channels.
