Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup encourages soldiers who participated in Operation Promise

-Commended the efforts of Army, Navy and Air Force soldiers who completed the mission of protecting people’s lives and property by being sent in the shortest time after an operation order

-Listened to stories of the operation participants and cheered them

On April 27, Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup encouraged soldiers who participated in Operation Promise and successfully completed a mission to evacuate 28 Korean residents in Sudan.

Minister Lee listened to the stories of operation participants and expressed his appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

Meanwhile Minister Lee encouraged them, saying, “I am very proud of you for enhancing the status of the nation and the military by successfully accomplishing the fundamental role of the military to protect people’s lives and safety.”
