ROK holds 6th ROK-France strategic defense dialogue

On Wednesday, November 17 (local time), Kim Man-ki, director of defense policy at the Ministry of National Defense, and Alice Guitton, director of international relations strategy headquarters at the French defense ministry, held the sixth Republic of Korea (ROK)-France Strategic Defense Dialogue in Paris, France.

The ROK and France have regularly held the dialogue since the two countries upgraded their director-level defense policy talks to an assistant minister-level strategic defense dialogue in 2007, a unique step in Korea-Europe relations. During the dialogue, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on ROK-France defense cooperation, as well as on the security situation in the Asia-Pacific region, including on the Korean Peninsula.
