ROK, Poland hold vice ministers of defense meeting

On the afternoon of September 10, Vice Minister of National Defense Park Jae-min held a bilateral meeting with his Polish counterpart Marcin Ochiepa, attending the Seoul Defense Dialogue (SDD) as a special panelist. They exchanged opinions on ways to strengthen defense exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two vice ministers assessed the deepening bilateral defense cooperation and relations, and Park said he hopes to further expand bilateral cooperation in a range of areas, including defense, citing the strategic partnership between the ROK and Poland.

Park also called for Poland’s active support for the ROK’s genuine effort to achieve denuclearization and peace on the Korean Peninsula.
