Korea-Australia organize working-level association for common innovative areas

The 6th Korean-Australian Conference on Logistics Cooperation was held at the joint logistics command, Canberra, Australia, on May 4.

At this meeting, which was led by Director General for Logistics Management in MND Park Byung-ki, and the Joint Logistics Commander David Mulhall, both sides discussed their logistics innovations in great depth, and the development of Korean-Australian logistics was planned.

Representatives of these two countries also agreed to expand their scope in terms of their ability to exchange and cooperate in the area of logistics development by establishing a working-level consultative body to engage in common innovative areas such as distribution and repair parts operations, etc.

Since the two countries entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for logistics cooperation in 1998, they have maintained constant cooperative relations. Also they agreed on holding a regular logistics cooperation conference in 2010, when the MOU was modified, and since then, the annual conference has been held until now.
