Results of the Defense Ministerial Meeting between Korea and Saudi Arabia

- Bilateral defense and defense industry cooperation were discussed -

Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup held a meeting with Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, the Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, who visited Korea, at the Defense Ministry building on March 7.

Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup and his Saudi Arabian counterpart, Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman Al Saud, discussed various ways to strengthen bilateral defense and defense industry cooperation, and exchanged their views on regional security situations.

  
Minister Lee highlighted the advanced capabilities of Korea's defense industry and expressed optimism about the ongoing defense industry export negotiations between the two nations, hoping for a successful outcome.

The two ministers came to an agreement that there will be a future-oriented defense and defense industry cooperation between Korea and Saudi Arabia based on solid trust and cooperation.
