Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup discusses defense and defense industry collaboration with Poland

Defense Minister Lee Jong-sup visited the Tomb of


Minister Lee Jong-sup took further steps to enhance the partnership between South Korea and Poland in the field of defense. According to the Ministry of National Defense's statement on February 23, Minister Lee had a meeting with Sebastian Chwałek, the head of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), a government-owned defense corporation, on February 22nd in Warsaw.

 

During his official visit to Poland, Minister Lee Jong-sup was updated on the progress of the weapons system developed by the company. In a meeting with representatives from the defense ministries and arms companies of both countries, they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral defense industry cooperation. At the meeting, Minister Lee expressed his hope that this collaboration would promote trust and contribute to the future of defense industry cooperation between Korea and Poland.

 

Before visiting PGZ, Minister Lee paid his respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the capital city of Poland.
