This strategy mainly drives strong maritime power and maritime security cooperation activities.” He emphasized that the various views discussed during the symposium will strengthen cooperation among countries in the region and help build stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific.

Head of the National Assembly's Defense Committee Han said in his congratulatory address, “The Indo-Pacific region has many strategically important shipping routes, and I believe that this symposium will offer valuable opportunities to gather our strength and wisdom for maritime security based on harmony and co-prosperity in the Indo-Pacific.”

Chief of Naval Operations Lee said in his opening remarks, “This symposium will be an important momentum to strengthen solidarity and unity of the international community for co-prosperity and further deepen maritime security cooperation based on mutual trust.”

Minister Lee visited MADEX booths after the symposium and talked with representatives of domestic defense companies.

Minister Lee went to the booths of domestic defense companies to listen to the representatives to seek ways to provide governmental support to expand defense industry exports.
