The training consisted of guided missile reloading training, tactical action training, movement of launcher and its installation, in a way that the Korea-U.S. combined assessment teams were evaluated at the same time. Both units had a discussion time for a standardized assessment system and the assessment results that both the Korean and the U.S. forces apply, while inspecting general operating procedures of the Patriot equipment and its reaction capability together.

Lieutenant Colonel Yun Yong-bok, the 177th squadron commander, said, “I’m expecting to improve the Korea-U.S. combined operational capability with the great help of the U.S. military, which has been operating the Patriot system for a long period of time.”
