“Soldiers of Hanbit unit are safe“

In response to some media reports that the Hanbit unit was isolated, the joint chiefs of staff denied the news, saying that soldiers of the Hanbit unit were safe and there was nothing significant to report around the Bor base, on January 4.

 

“To give urgent food aid to other units within the Bor base, where the Hanbit unit is stationed, a helicopter has been operated from Juba to Bor city, and some subsidiary food was provided to the Hanbit unit at that time,” the joint chiefs of staff also said.
